1 Prize exaequo, $3000 each: Asnia Asim (Pakistan), and Wilfred Oliver Segovia (Philippines)
3 Prize, $1000: Lhotse Quintanilla (Bolivia), english translation,
4 Prize, $1000: Esther Ng (Singapore).

Safet Hadzimuhamedovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina),
María Fernanda Heyaca (Argentina), english translation,
Alfred Shako Kpane (Democratic Republic of Congo), english translation, and

The Juries have also acknowledged many others, that are included in the "other distinguished essays"
