The Award Ceremony took place during the Closing Session of the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics in Seoul, South Korea, on June 24, 2009.

Winners received awards from Justin Lin, World Bank Chief Economist and Senior Vice President; Young Geol Lee, Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance of Korea; Didrik Tonseth, Ambassador of Norway in Korea, and Oh-Seok Hyun, President, Korea Development Institute.
